Happy February! How is it already February!? I feel like time is going by so fast and Spring will be here before we know it!
Valentine’s Day is such a fun day to celebrate your loved ones, family, and friends. I love this holiday so of course I had to display some fun Valentine’s Day books for my girls. These books were a big hit with both of them! I wanted to share how it turned out since I’m loving all of these books.
Sophia and Mia have been loving the holiday themed books lately, so I decided to add a few more books to our Valentine’s Day collection and display them on Sophia’s book shelves in her room.
I wanted to keep this book nook simple and affordable. I added a heart garland that I got from Target. The pink heart pillow is from TJ Maxx, the red heart throw pillow is from the Target Dollar Spot, and the white textured throw pillow is from Hobby Lobby.
Some of these books are from my classroom library and some are purchased from Target and Amazon. My girls and I love these three books the most: Hug Machine, Bananas For You, & In My Heart: A Book Of Feelings.
I like to set up this little reading corner with comfy pillows so that my 3 and 1.5 year old can sit here and have a cozy spot to read. I love to encourage reading and this little corner is perfect for that.
Another way to display books without spending money on books is renting them from the library. You can check out holiday themed books for free and get them excited by reading new books, it’s a win-win!
Check out the Halloween and Christmas book nook that I put together for my girls last year! Thanks for reading!
