Happy Valentine’s Day! I wanted to quickly share these sweet little Valentine baskets that I put together for the girls. Wes and I don’t do gifts for each other on Valentine’s Day, but I do love making it fun and special for my kids! If you’re in need of some Valentine Basket inspiration I’ve got you covered!
I kept it pretty minimal this year and didn’t want to spend too much. I reused these metal baskets that I got from the Target dollar spot last year. The books are from Amazon, everything else that I got for the Valentine baskets are all from Target.
Each basket came with a Valentine shirt, a book, stickers, playdough, and a wooden paint craft. Sophia (3 years old) has been loving coloring and painting so I got her a small notepad that I think she’ll really like! She also got some chocolate M&M’s that she will most likely share with her sister.
Mia (1.5 years old) got heart shaped hair clips in her basket. She is at an age where she still puts everything in her mouth so I’ll be supervising her while she plays with the play dough and the painting craft (haha).
I know my girls will love their Valentine baskets this year! I know it’s totally not necessary to put together Valentine baskets for your kids. I am such a sucker for Valentine’s Day so I love doing this every year.
I always purchase things in advance when I see them and collect little things along the way, that way I’m not buying everything at once. If you want to see more Valentine’s Day basket ideas, check out what I got the girls last year!
I hope you have a fun Valentine’s Day with your family, thanks for reading!
