Hi friends! Need some Valentine’s Day basket ideas? You’ve come to the right place!
When I was a 4th grade teacher, we always celebrated Valentine’s Day by having a class party. I loved seeing my students bring in decorated Valentine boxes and pass out their cards to their classmates! It’s a fun holiday to celebrate the ones you love and a reason to eat more sugar that we don’t need, am I right?
Since I’m a sucker for Valentine’s Day, I put together gift baskets for Sophia (2 years old) and Amelia (7 months old) with fun things they will use and things they need.
I wanted to keep it simple and affordable. I found most of it at Target and a few things from Amazon. I love these white baskets I found in the Target Dollar Spot for only $5 each!
Sophia is really into arts and crafts right now, so I picked up this wooden painting craft for her. She also loves Peppa Pig and the Little Blue Truck series, and knew that she would go crazy over these books. She also got a long sleeve shirt and candy that her dad will probably end up eating. The chapstick and play dough are from the Target Dollar Spot.
I got Amelia this precious book and a new Valentine outfit since she mostly wears Sophia’s old hand-me-downs. I also purchased her next size up in these warm fleece booties. These are my favorite booties to put on my babies. They act like socks and shoes all in one. Amelia needed a new WubbaNub since they end up all over our house, and they help her sleep at night.
Another thing that I bought were these drool bibs that come in a 6-pack from Amazon. Amelia is a big time drooler, I mean that girl can soak up her onesie within 10 minutes… So she will be getting a lot of use out of those bibs!
You really don’t need to get your kids anything for Valentine’s Day, but if you are I hope this gave you a few ideas. I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day with your loved ones!
