I’m excited to share some of my favorite photos from our Kauai maternity photoshoot during our babymoon trip!
There are so many gorgeous photos, it’s hard to pick which one is my favorite! I wrote about our entire babymoon in Kauai, and wanted a separate post just for our Kauai maternity photoshoot.
I took advantage of the incredible scenery in Hawaii and it’s the perfect outdoor location for any photoshoot. It was mid June during our babymoon and I wanted to capture my growing 22 week bump!
Location & Timing
Our photographer was Emily Helen Photography and she did an incredible job! Our photographer gave us the option to choose from a morning or evening session. As much as I wanted a sunset in the background, I knew the beaches would have been busy. I’m so glad I went with an early morning session because there was hardly anyone on the beach and the lighting was perfect! I requested to take photos in Hanalei Bay and LOVED how our photos turned out!

Outfit Details
I wanted a few options so I went with two different dresses during our maternity photoshoot. The white one is from Lulus, I loved the detailing on the front of the dress. Out of the two dresses, this one was my favorite because it was flowy and worked well with my 22 week bump. The light pink floral dress is from Pink Blush Maternity. They have so many styles and options to choose from – you can’t go wrong!
This was such a memorable trip and documenting our first pregnancy was one of my favorite things we did during our Kauai babymoon!
